Capscore Division is releasing their first CD in collaboration with Xunk. This is not just another compilation: it's the manifesto of the hardcore arm of Capsule Corp, an inspired and active collective at the forefront of the french free-party scene. Behind Capscore Division is Empatysm aka DJ Hutch/Hydrophazer, who has various tracks on the compilation. Other acts include The Doberman, Paul Tergeist and the Germans of Nordcore. All the tracks on the CD have had previous EP releases.
Born in Paris, Empatysm had been into graffiti and skating when he started mixing hip-hop and techno in the early nineties. Leaving his urban environment, he got involved in the booming free-party circuit in southern France mixing techno, acid, hardcore or drum'n bass alongside then likes of Miss Kittin, FKY, Robert Armani, Liza N'Eliaz.
Inspired by encounters with the Spiral Tribe, Empatysm started producing his own sound circa 1996 as part of Capscule Corp, which he helped set up.

Many EP releases ensued through Capsule Corp and on a various labels including Passe Muraille/ Expressillon, Ballistik, Full Bass... In 1998, he set up Sub-Radar Records and has since had with tracks appearing on the 100% Hardcore compilation and Human 10, where he is remixed by Joshua. As part of Capscore, Empatysm got increasingly involved with the german scene, remixing Oliver Chesler & The Butcher and featuring on a compilation by Nordcore Records.
At the origine of Nordcore are Doc, Rott, DJ Stahlin and The Butcher, whose track-record include the signing of PCP, Radium, Brain Killer, The Emperator, and participations in Thunderdome and various nights at the mythical Tresor club in Berlin.
The other acts on Audio Capsule are all from Caspule Corp: Krapulax, formerly known as Deuz, had regular performances in southern France where he founded Globble Records and duo The New Crew with DJ Tieum.

The pair emigrated to Germany in 2001 where they developped the label through the signing of Marc Arcadipane from PCP and appearances on compilations Europe-wide.
The Doberman has been mixing acid and hardcore since 1995. Long involved on the free-party circuit, he's now devoting himself to djing and production with the aim to bring first class hardcore to a broader panel of listeners.
On Audio Capsule Vol 1., he and the rest of the crew are doing just that.
