Since its beginning 5 years ago, Sayag has been asserting its firmly established reputation on stage through more than 300 shows in France and abroad with its albums "Testpressing" and “Anachromic”.
Creator of a progressive and innovating "jazzy " jungle, SAYAG presents its third opus : “Anachro’mix EXPERIENCES”, a double REMIX CD and DVD digipack which contains, as its title points out, a diversity of tracks from the “Anachromic” album completely revisited by Punish Yourself, Broke Gringos, Zôl, Co, Vadim Vernay...
For the first time in video, SAYAG offers us its play and poetic universe especially made for the stage. “Anachro’mix Experiences” is a subtle and aerial fusion wich sometimes explodes and carries us along in unexpected musical breaks : a tasty mix of energy and poetry with jazzy, bossa, breakbeat, hip hop, jungle & experimental sonorities.
On stage, Sayag carries us away to the rhythm of a wild jungle ; a surrealistic and anachronous fiction which matches the musicians’ performance relating the "Cinema Adventure".
It’s an out-of-time journey, an adventure sprung from the imaginary fancies of a 19° century illusionist who conducts optical illusions.
Alternatively, SAYAG dedicates itself to a study based on the interactivity between sound and image through a double project : the elaboration of another DVD with the whole visual creation of “Anachromic” (+ a short film and numerous bonus) and the creation of a new show more multimedia directed which will be made with the support of the DICREAM (a plan of multimedia and artistic creation run by the CNC - national center of cinematography-). |
