What does it remain in the Free Party movement's spirit, started in England in the beginning of the 90's, and come to our lands a couple of years later? a scene for certain ! and a lot of souvenirs.
With a few unforgettable concerts, of which the worship performance in 1996 by Les Boucles Etranges, La Luciola, published in that time in 200 tapes, becoming thereafter a true longing object. Today this live is published again in CD, a windfall!
More than ten years later, in 2005, Mem Pamal gives us his live Precursub, another music's vue, searching the charm, flirting with the psychedelisme, Mem Pamal evolves between hard-techno and transcore, with a drum'n'bass' hint.
This double CD illustrates the unclassified performers' creativity, born on this unbelievable scene which is the Free Party.
Beyond music, the Free Parties are as well a way to travel and create, to exchange and share experiences. That's what Yann Richet offers us to discover, through a road-movie documentary, who followed an idealistic latter-day crew, gone on the East Europe roads (Hungary, Czech Republic, Romania) for disseminating the good-speech and meet up with the original spirit of free-party, which still seems to exist for a part of our neighbours...
