Thanks to Tom Terrrien’s presence (keyboards/sampler) The trio MINIMAL ORCHESTRA resolutely turns towards Electronica, with a blend of groovy, sensuous echoes, sometimes even bordering to sound experiments.
One can notice the influence of some of the greatest programming artists such as Squarepusher or Aphex Twin. Beyond an “electronica” labelling, the rhythmic set of Pierre-Jean Trouette (Bass / double bass) and Ghislain Rivera (Drums / Sampler) contrasts sharply.
With its original drum'n'jazz electronica, Minimal Orchestra freely revisits all the different styles of electro in live concerts worth experiencing as much for these crafted musicians’ stage performances as for the trip into their peculiar universe: it’s an opportunity not to be missed!
