EMERGENCE VOL 1

If Paris is the capital city of fashion, it’s unmistakably not the one of sound. You just have to look at what’s happening outside Paris, to believe it. It’s for these reasons that we have decided to create the “Emergence en Scène” parties, where the public can discover the up and coming.

The sound-laboratory gives an opportunity to emerging bands by means of event-parties at the FLECHE D’OR and the release of this double album boxset, just relaunching the boxset proves that creation is strong. For this first volume, double album boxset the two bands which come with us are:

LIPID TRÖN, conceived since 2003, originally from the fusion scene, carry you to a world of mixing current atmospheres, and ones from the last twenty years. Not setting artistic limits to themselves, the LIPID TRÖN music is a symbiosis of Electro, Fusion, Dub and Trip Hop. It lauds tolerance and open-mindedness by its music pieces embellished of experimental samples with groove as its backbone. The absorbing basses profuse their roundnesses to the hollows of unchanging rythmics upon which come to alight guitars with noisy emanations whirling from all their power and encompassing the space of twirling sounds that catch you and never let you go.

R2JEUX Dub duet has been created a night of 2003 at the end of a concert of Zenzile. R2jeux is the association of one bass player (Alan) and one Dj (Tony) who have decided to pool their backgrounds, as well their technics for producing a sound that digs up as much in the electro and the digital as in the old school vibrancies or the analogical. Their first album “Everytime I Heard the sound” which was mastered by Kobé (High tone, Brain damage, Dub wiser) at the Loaded Studio in Saint-Etienne, will ravish the ethnodub lovers. The powerful bass lines carry us along the beaches of fine beats upon which come to run aground a cohort of vibrancies swimming in rough water. An album all in stability which combines verve with the atomic forces of the music, for a trip of tension.
